Bronco Bench 5k and 10k Fun Run

 

 

The Bronco Bench Foundation is proud to present their 1^st Annual 5k & 10k Fun Run on February 5^th on the beautiful Santa Clara University Campus.

Start Time: 8:00am, Location; Benson Memorial Center

Bring your family, friends, and pets as we walk, jog, or run to support our Santa Clara Broncos. This will be a SCU community event with students, student athletes, coaches, alumni, faculty and staff.  All funds will go towards Student Athlete Scholarships. 

Refreshments will be provided during the race as well as encouragement from our cheer and dance teams. The races will be split into six divisions; 20 and under, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, and 60+. Prizes will be awarded to the male and female winner of each division.

Where should I park?

Parking will be available in the parking structure at the main entrance to the SCU Campus.

Where does the run begin?

Registration and the start/finish of the race will be in front of the Benson Memorial Center on the SCU Campus.

Will there be day of registration?

Yes, you can register on site the day of the race. 

Will there be restrooms on site? 

The restrooms in Leavey Center will be available for use during the race.

Can I bring my kids and dogs?

Yes, of course. Anyone and everyone is welcome. 

Is the race wheelchair/stroller accessible? 

Yes. 

Can I walk?

Definitely! This is a fun run. We expect people of all athletic abilities. 

Will there be awards for the top finishers?

We will have awards for the winners of the following divisions: Student and Student Athletes, Open 20 & Under, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 60+. An award will be given to the male and female winners of each division. 

Will water and food be provided on the course?

We will have water stations at each mile.
