Annual Bill Flodberg Mt. Madonna Challenge 6K, 12K , 18K & 30K

 

Sprig Lake Picnic Area
Sprig Lake Picnic Area is at the base (Gilroy Side)
of Mt. Madonna County Park,
a facility of the Santa Clara County Regional
Parks and Recreation System, on Highway 152

Time:

Race day registration begins at 7:00 a.m. all race start at 8:00am
6K   Mt. Madonna Challenge -  (6K Course Map)
12K Mt. Madonna Challenge -  (12K Course Map)
18K Mt. Madonna Challenge -  (Combines 6K & 12K courses)
30K Mt. Madonna Challenge - (combines 18k and 12k courses, runners complete the 6k course then run the 12k course twice)

Entry Fee:

Pre-Register by August 8: $25 6K, $30 12K, $40 18K, $45 30k  Includes Technical shirt
After August 4 & Race Day: $30 6K, $35 12K, $45 18K, $ 50 30K, Shirt not guaranteed

Course:

All events follow established trails within Mt. Madonna County Park.
Scenic courses take participants through groves of Oak, Manzanita and Redwood trees.
The 6K (3.7 mile) loop course has an elevation gain of 700 feet.
The 12K (7.4 mile) loop course has an elevation gain of 1100 feet.
The 18K (11.1 mile) course combines both the 6K and 12K courses for a total elevation gain of 1800 feet.
The 30k (18.6 mile) course combines the 18k and 12k courses for a total elevation gain of 2900 feet
